Assessment of Mandatory Disclosure Assessments in the Strata Title Market

EnergyConsult researched the regulatory, physical and managerial constraints on undertaking energy efficient actions in the strata title and community title sectors. Extensive stakeholder consultation and interviewing throughout Australian was conducted. Consultation was based on a proposed mandatory home energy disclosure scheme in the strata and community sector. The resulting impacts of proposed scheme and the potential energy savings were modelled and a cost-benefit analysis of the scheme in the strata title sector was undertaken.
