Development of a Flexible Pricing comparison website

EnergyConsult provided technical and energy market advice for the development of the energy price comparison site “Switched On”.

The final website allowed householders to compare electricity and gas tariffs from different energy retailers by producing an estimated bill, using annual or estimated energy consumption of the user. EnergyConsult also provided information which helped inform users what changes could be made to energy use to take advantage of the different flexible pricing tariffs. The work was carried out under sub-contract to Briarbird.
