Impact Evaluation of Air Conditioner MEPS
A retrospective evaluation of the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and product labelling for non-ducted air conditioners.
The impact evaluation estimated the energy and GHG emission savings from the introduction two MEPS revisions for the period 2010 to 2015. Included in the impact evaluation was the effectiveness of a labelling re-grade on all non-ducted air conditioners. An additional report detailing the results and the evaluation methodology was prepared.
