RIS for MEPS on Refrigerated Cabinets
On behalf of E3, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) managed a project examining the impact of revising the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS regulations) for refrigerated display cabinets. The RIS also reviewed introducing new MEPS for refrigerated storage/service/professional cabinets (RDCs). EnergyConsult provided technical/economic modelling, report writing and stakeholder consultation services to assess the impacts of various regulatory measures to improve the efficiency of new RDCs in Australia and NZ. The lead consultant is the Expert Group.
