Revision RIS for Air Conditioner MEPS in New Zealand

A revision RIS was conducted for the air conditioner market in New Zealand and a potential change in New Zealand-specific MEPS. The RIS considered whether the different climate conditioners of New Zealand, such as the much greater use of AC for heating, meant different requirements in MEPS to Australia. The revision RIS analysed the energy impacts, market impacts and cost benefits of a variety of options. Additionally, stakeholders were consulted on the RIS.
