Residential Baseline Study 2021 update: Energy Use in the Residential Sector in Australia and New Zealand

EnergyConsult completed a major update and expansion to the 2015 Residential Baseline Study (RBS). The comprehensive update included a review of the core residential energy characteristics and updating the projections to 2040 of the energy use in the residential sector. In addition, the RBS model was expanded to provide electricity demand time of use for typical weekdays and weekend days. The updated RBS also developed a scenario modelling tool for the future development of specific energy efficiency response measures by the Australian Government, the New Zealand Government, and industry.
