National Standby Power Approaches Project

As part of the Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate Change (APP), EnergyConsult led a project to enable consistent collection of data on standby power. The project resulted in a representative set of standby measurements across Australia, Japan, Korea, USA, Canada and India. The website produced from the project provides interactive charts comparing the standby power of various appliances in each country.
